Hygge Sessions
For parents and their preschool and home educated children
Mondays 10am-1pm including lunch (bring your own)
Our Hygge sessions offer a lovely way for parents and children to bond in a quaint, calm cabin furnished with simple, natural resources, books, two-storey role play castle, armchair and even a bed. Outdoors, you can enjoy our gardens with sandpit, mud kitchen, concoction corner and fairy garden, and meadows and woodland beyond. We are situated in a heart of a private, secluded 42-acre country estate.
Our facilitator leads the group through a gentle rhythm of indoor play, circle time, snack, outdoor play and story. Homemade refreshments are provided for adults and children with vegan options provided.
Our Hygge sessions are a great way to familiarise yourself and your children with our cabin for those considering utilising our childcare. They also offer an opportunity to benefit from our setting without dropping off your child if you prefer to experience such sessions together. They are primarily aimed at children aged 0-7 but children of all ages will be warmly welcomed and catered for.
Hygge is a Danish term (pronounced hue-guh), meaning cosiness, relaxation and well-being.
